00:00.000 — RUN STARTED

Every frame counts.
Every wall sticks.

Quartz Gecko Games is a small independent studio making tight, honest pixel-art precision platformers. Instant respawns, frame-exact controls and speedrun leaderboards built in from day one.

Our games

Four platformers, one philosophy: if you missed the jump, it was your thumb, not our hitbox.

Wallcling

A gecko, a crystal mine and 240 single-screen rooms. Cling to any surface for exactly one second, then let go. Our debut, and still our hardest.

Geode Drop

A vertical descent through a hollow geode. Fall fast, crack crystals for momentum and never touch the glowing walls. Daily seeded shafts.

DAILY SEED → global board

Facet Run

Rotate the level in 90° turns mid-jump. Every crystal facet is a new floor. Ghost replays let you race your own best run.

GHOSTS → race your PB

Prism Lizard

In development. Split light into colours and only stand on the platforms that match. A rainbow-coloured nightmare for your reflexes.

// LEADERBOARDS

Built for the split

Speedrunning isn't a bonus mode in our games. It's the foundation.

  • In-game timer accurate to the millisecond, paused on load screens.
  • Opt-in leaderboards per level, per category, per week.
  • Replay files so verifiers can watch every input.
  • Assist modes for everyone else, with runs kept on a separate board.

// ABOUT

A tiny studio, tuning frames

We're a handful of developers who grew up retrying the same jump a hundred times and loving it. We hand-draw every sprite, tune every jump curve by feel and playtest with speedrunners before anything ships.

60frames per second, locked, on every platform we ship.
0.0srespawn time. Death is a comma, not a full stop.
16pxour tile size, and our whole aesthetic.
